ABOUT AHDÜM
AHDÜM Education Resilience Metrics is a Türkiye-based organization developing institutional pathways for education resilience. CRUI is its first operational pathway, translating field-tested continuity work into a practical institutional process for evidence review, improvement planning, and leadership decision support. Where validated findings justify action, institutions may separately scope optional continuity implementation support.
Origin
AHDÜM grew out of sustained teaching and learning continuity practice since 2023 in conditions of severe disruption and weak connectivity. That experience produced practical tools, working methods, and a clearer understanding of what universities need when normal systems break down.
Purpose
To help higher education institutions strengthen continuity, governance readiness, evidence systems, and improvement planning.
Direction
A readiness-review-first model. Evidence-led. Institution-centred. Governance-aware in practice.
This field-to-institution translation guides the design and delivery of CRUI and, where validated findings justify action, can inform separately scoped continuity implementation support.
Founder
Founder and Methodology Architect, AHDÜM
Developer of CRUI
Associate Professor of Strategic Communication | Scholar of Mediatized Education and Institutional Resilience
His work sits at the intersection of mediatized education, crisis-responsive higher education, and institutional resilience. His research examines how media logics, institutional disruption, and conditions of crisis reshape learning, knowledge integrity, and university readiness, drawing on work across Palestine and other conflict-affected contexts. His academic formation bridges communication and education, with advanced specialization in strategic, political, and educational communication, doctoral work in mediatization, and a broader grounding in social science and Middle East studies.
His research develops education resilience as a practical institutional capacity: sustaining learning, protecting knowledge integrity, strengthening governance readiness, and supporting human-capital continuity under conditions of crisis, displacement, and infrastructural disruption.
Through AHDÜM and CRUI, the Crisis-Ready University Index, AlAhmad turns this work into a structured readiness review pathway: evidence review, leadership-facing reporting, and improvement roadmaps for institutions seeking to demonstrate and strengthen their capacity to continue under rupture.

Academic and Scientific Evidence Base
Selected credibility signals and academic evidence document AHDÜM’s origins and institutional development. They support the current CRUI Readiness Review and the governed progression toward annual reviews, charter-readiness, consent-based benchmarking and index development, and later ranking pathways as the required evidence, governance, legal readiness, partnerships, and institutional consent mature.
PROJECT TEAM
AHDÜM is developed through a multidisciplinary project structure combining methodology leadership, operations, and evidence coordination, educational assessment and policy review, AI and data governance, digital-learning systems, field learning continuity, and international education partnerships.
